Digitizing

Contemporary embroidery is stitched with a computerized embroidery machine using patterns “digitized” with embroidery software. In machine embroidery, different types of “fills” add texture and design to the finished work. Machine embroidery is used to add logos and monograms to business shirts or jackets, gifts, and team apparel as well as to decorate household linens, draperies, and decorator fabrics that mimic the elaborate hand embroidery of the past.

Digitizing is an art and science that will allow us to turn your logo, graphic or artwork into embroidery. A logo, which is made up of dots of color, has to be turned into lines of thread. If this is done with skill, each element of the logo stands out in almost 3D, and each one is easily distinguished from the others.

To digitize your image, Savanna Design uses special software to change the colored areas of an image to convert it into thread stitches. While doing this they use their considerable talent and years of experience to modify the direction thickness of each element of the image.
